I've read through all of the posts that have anything to do
with WowRosterDF & I can't find a solution to this problem.

We were running the first beta version just fine, no problems at all. I did a clean install of the second beta &
now am unable to upload the characterprofiler.lua file. Of
course I didn't save a copy of the first beta so I can't
revert to it.

I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling; deleting the profile addons & lua files, reinstalling & running them afterwards.
Nothing seems to work & when I click the update submit button
it just jumps to a blank page.

Similar to other posts, I get the unable to find guild error message when I try to view the roster. Anyway, just posting
to see if anyone has found a solution yet, thanks!

2nd time posting a reply, as my first one did not stick for some reason.

I had the exact same problem when I first installed WoWRosterDF. You need to also download and install the GuildProfiler add-on to your WoW folder, then use it in conjunction with CharacterProfiler to create your CharacterProfiler.lua file. It must add some info into the CharacterProfiler.lua file that is critical to the way that WoWRosterDF works. As soon as I took these steps, I was immediately able to:

1) Go to the WoWRosterDF page on my site. It would not go here before I took the above steps, only give me the same error message that you got.
2) Upload my CharacterProfiler.lua file with no issues whatsoever.

Thanks, I'll go see if there's something different that I need
to do with the GuildProfiler Addon, but I've always had that
installed & didn't have any problems running either the stand-
alone version or the first beta of WowRostderDF. I updated to
the 2nd beta of WowRosterDF, updated to the new versions of
GuildProfiler & CharacterProfiler (for the latest WOW patch), & I updated the game patch all on the same day.
Don't know which one of those updates is responsible for the
errors, lmao!!!
I tend to believe something in the second beta of WowRosterDF
either changed a path or some settings or something that
creates the error. I'll respond again if I figure out what
the problem is, thanks!!

After reading RottGutt's post about GuildProfiler I went to
see if there was anything different about the newest version
or something different that I needed to do when using it. I
found out that there is a SAVE button in the top left corner of
the guild (social) tab, I was only aware of the SAVE button on
the character pane before; I'm reinstalling WowRosterDFBeta2
right now to see if saving the guild info with the second SAVE
button fixes the blank page error when updating WowRoster guilds.
I'll post again if this fixes the problem.

Hmm, still getting a blank page when updating. I checked the
lua file & all of the guild information is in there. It's just not uploading
to the WowRosterDF module. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Its not that there is no help I just have been very busy in the last few weeks.

upload the contents of the zip to your root of df
<df root>/modlues/wowrosterdf
<df root>/saved
once this has been done head to the modules admin area and click the install button next to the wowrosterdf addon. after you have done all of this the module will be installed and when logged in as an admin you would be able to access the roster config section to config the roster then update the roster. I have made it to where if you are an admin uploading the characterprofiler.lua it will also upload the guild data at the sametime.

Oh and for the password you should not need to use it anywhere in the dragonflyCMS wowrosterdf module

out why the first beta worked fine but having probs with the
second beta.

Beta 2, I wasn't sure why it wouldn't allow me to change the
password or enter one either.

Problem solved! I just decided to not use the integrated version, lmfao!!! Everybody's happy now!!
