What's wrong with Missing Recipies?

Hi!

I have installed wowroster 1.7.0 and a current version of missingrecepies. Uploading Guild- and Character Data works.

When I click on the "MissingRecipies" Button, I get the two dropdown boxes and the send Button. After selecting what I want and clicking on send, it takes a moment and the two dropboxes and then send button reappear flush left without any formatting in a new page. I can click the send button again, but nothing happens.

I can browse to allakhazam's recepie lists manually and get them on my screen with out a problem.

Any hints, suggestions?

Hm, as I'am currently testing wowroster it is not on a server that is accessible from the web it is on my local box, I'll post a screenshot later on.

Okay know I now what's going on, missingrecipies, guildbank, itemstats, raidtracker are affected as well.

The german speaking Wow database website www.blasc.de switched their domain name and their layout into www.buffed.de that's why parsing doesn't work anymore.

Halin, there is more to parsing the data than knowing the URL to pull it from. missingrecipes has never supported german. To support a different data source you have to rewrite half the mod. Supporting german and french for a mod like this is far from trivial.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or possibly miss installation but i get this error after installing Missing Recipe and choosing Profession, Character, and hitting submit.

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.

Missing Recipe ver 1.1
Roster ver. 1.7

Seeing that you are on IIS/php, these two links are what I could come up with just by searching the error.

Check out the bugs.php.net one first, as it has a bit more information to the end-result fix.

I appreciate your effort in researching the error as i did. Some of my results were for bugs in .php, MySQL, IIS etc.. and other were in the specific app being used. Since my site is hosted by a hosting company I do not have access to the server to try the fixes.

Hi,

my problem is, then i'm choosing the profession and name and hit the button. He allways give me "Sorry, this character does not know that profession, or knows no recipes at all."

It's because this hasn't been localized at all. Once I localize it, it will work. But unfortunately, that will be awhile.

I am also getting: Sorry, the query failed, and cannot determine what patterns are not known.

It was working fine since it was released. Only thing I can think of that changed is I restarted the server and am using the new uniuploader now. Should I remove the tables and try to start over again?

Well, it's working again... maybe it was a problem with allakhazam.
