I am getting this error:

Could not find guild: 'Freaks Uf Nature' for server 'Dunemaul'
You need to load your guild first and make sure you finished configuration

I have re-uploaded and re-installed 3 times now, and continue to get the same error. Although I searched through the Forums and found multiple references to the same type of error, nobody has posted an actual fix for this problem. I am pretty sure I configured WoWRosterDF correctly, but I am totally stumped here. Can anyone help?

By the way, is there an actual installation guide available for the DF version of this module? I went to my Admin panel and installed the module there, but that is all I did. I then went to the WoWRosterDF icon in the Admin panel (the icon does not show up by the way) and did my configuration there. Did I miss a step or two?

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately I am still getting the same error message as shown in the 2nd screenshot I posted. Are there any troubleshooting steps I can try to find out why it cannot find my Guild?

EDIT: That fixed it! It seems to be working great now! Thank you so much for the info. On a side note, I think it would be a great idea to write a short set of Installation Instructions, especially noting the add-ons that you HAVE TO INSTALL to make WoWRosterDF work.

I just downloaded the updated port (v1.7.0b2) and uploaded it to my site, overwriting the existing files. But now when I go to WoWRosterDF, I just get a page telling me "A database error has occured". The same happens when I logon as Admin and go to the WoWRosterDF Admin icon. I did notice that when I unzipped the download the archive only held the "module" portion of WoWRosterDF. The "images" and "saved" folder were not included. Any suggestions?

I just uninstalled, then re-installed the WoWRosterDF module, and it seems to be working now. The only thing I can see not working correctly are the mouse-overs of Character's equipment. Was this feature taken out of the new version 1.7.0b2?

right When i posted this last update i was woprking with a site that is using item stats and i had to remove the over lib includes from the roster header file. If you add item stats to your site it will fix the tooltips and if not ill post the changed files here shortly.

I am having the exact same problem, only I have used both the character and guild profilers (latest versions) with no luck.

My questions are:

1. Am I supposed to upload the GuildProfiler.lua or the CharacterProfiler.lua at the upload screen..

2. When I upload, do I have to enter in the admin password to make it work? It hasn't so far... with either file...

3. When I click upload, the Update Log is empty. Is this normal? I am thinking no... which might be a clue as to what my problem is...

I appreciate any help on this. Also, if there is a set of instructions somewhere, please supply a link

edit: I have a feeling that the mod for WoW isn't working correctly. The .lua files do not really have any sort of info, like my character name... I am wondering if that is the problem...

***ok I found out via google that you have to get the *.lua from the C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\$Account\SavedVariables\CharacterProfiler.lua file! I was looking in the main addon folder >.<

Hope that helps anyone else that has a similar problem

1) click on finished configuration
2) click on guild configuration
3) fill in the Guild name as shown in the CharacterProfiler.lua and same with the server name



i think this is the problem you are having
