I read about then new logging/auth sytem in roster 2.0 and
i thought it could be used for addon´s development?

I´d like to expand the shopping-addon with auth functionallity but the official way

I did it on my own but it means to much of code changing to the users...

Any idea ?

Roster 2.0 isn't even close to ready for alpha testing
It will be some time before it will be released

The best bet for now is to make your own auth system for shopping
Or if silencer updates his authadmin addon for roster, you could use that

I'm currently exploring the options for auth in 1.8. Will take a while for that to be out though.

Yeh, the auth i'm working on for R2 could potentially be backwards compatible, it's comming along well, but its still a very very long way from completion or general usability.

The best comparison in terms of features, function & scope is a CMS/forum auth/permission system like in e107/phpBB.

I'll send you a PM so you can see what I'm talking about but your best bet is to go with your own system for now, or porting my old auth system to R1.7.
