Forget the above. Gonna scrap integrating it and just run it seperately.

Tha has solved most of the issue!! Now the only problem is that the left hand side menue is the administrators menu. People can't access the admin functions but it freaks me out a bit. Any thoughts??

to see go to www.hordeoutfitters.com

ok after a bit of investigating I've found the problem and its not with the index.php (although from the look of your site you've figured this out just posting this for those with simlar problems)

the problem is with the conf.php for some reason it also creates an entire webpage in there so go in and delete EVERYTHING before
Code: Select all
<?php

if you removed the
Code: Select all
include("header.php");
make sure your replace it otherwise you'll have problems

hope this helps someone

I installed this as directed and i get to step 7 and when i click on the Max Res addon it goes to this page.

Could not find guild: 'guildName' for server 'realmName'
You need to load your guild first and make sure you finished configuration

Click here for installation instructions

WoW Roster v1.7.0

What did I do wrong?

Well, I circumvented that by uploading my guildroster BEFORE installing MaxRes...

So just update the Roster and then go to Max Res addon and install it.
I'm not sure if the install instructions should be changed or that it just occurs very rarely.

I have uploaded this and got to where you do the configuration part of the install. It seems when I put my password in and click go it directs me to my stand alone roster. I am not sure why it does this. These are on two different databases so it shouldn't do it. I can't get into the configuration to configure the roster after install because it constantly redirects me. If anyone knows why and how to fix this it would be much appreciated.

Hmm, Drizzt, what steps of the installation did you complete with success?
And can you access the roster config? And didn't it upload the roster, despite the unknown column remark, as i think it did for me. So I could just go to Max Res after uploading roster.

@Mazuk: are you sure you enter the correct database/database user/database password in the install. AND that the databases have different names for the user and the password?

Btw, You got to step 5 right? Well, if it keeps giving troubles with configuration, it might be possible to do it manually. But I'm not sure if it would work, as I don't know what else that step does apart from creating the conf.php file.
If it only makes that file, then you could make it manually.
When you want to give it a try by doing it manually, just post again, or send me a pm, then i'll send you the code for the conf.php.

I followed the intructions.. The dbname are different but I believe the pass is the same. Regaurdless the name is different and shouldn't jump to that. I have missed with it and after 9 attempts it does the same thing ever time. I don't want to remove my standalone due that I will lose all of my data. But I might have to do that. I don't see why it would make a difference as the names are different.

And yes I got to step 5. I just can't get past it because everytime I put in the password to go to configuration it sends me to my standalone roster.

I have managed to install the program properly. Thanks for the mod and the support.

My only problem is that whenever I click on the roster tag it removes all of the current theme's layout. I get a predominately white page with "snippets" of my theme but mostly just space with the config windows embedded in it.
(Note this only happens with AutoTheme, normal Themes seem to be working
fine, very annoying).

I tried the above suggestion and modified the conf.php to just the core information (re-inserting the removed portion of the index.php) but no improvement.

Any ideas?

does it remove your theme layout on all roster pages or only a few?

i installed roster on a friend site using autotheme and only config was messing his theme.
