New to Mod Com (Testing needed or help)

My Roster database is hosted on anothe server due to problems and this mod i made only works if the databace is on the same server as mambo.

so it has not been tested.

This will be the first mod i wrote ever so would be cool if it worked

Unless mambo is odd, your variables are wrong. You can't have a number as the first thing in a variable.

And I also don't see why this wouldn't work. All you would have to do is hard-code your user/pass/host/etc for the database info, and everything would work.

Actually no..

Under the configuration of the module.. when it's installed..

you can enter server information.. no need to hardcode anything
