On my Page works the current Version SVN of 2.1.9


When i try to Update the Data Tables for the Talants in the Roster Config i get a short error Msg.:

Api call fail!
talents: :
http://eu.battle.net/wow/talents/class/ ... cale=de_DE

The Tables will not created.

Any Idea?

this is odd the file exists when you click on the link and open with notepad++ it could be that your server is on a blackout list in our download section i have a english only talents update downloads/?id=144

I have a update for this Problem. SQL and Debug givs this Informations:

yes contact your host and have then turn off safemode and unset the open_basedir then this should work..

i have called my host.

Save mode is = off

open Basedir can´t be changed

ok try it with safemode off i may have to see about a work arround

i ´ve tested this on my guildroster and can confirm the problem!
It seems that if open_basedir is set, no talents updates are possible (safemode is off).

I´ve looked for a fix and found something on php.net:

In the comments on the site http://de3.php.net/manual/en/function.curl-setopt.php a found a function to solve the problem with open_basedir.

I added the function to the Curl.php file and edited some lines in the function "makeRequest" in this file.
Now the script should check if open_basedir isset and if open_basedir is set it should use the alternate function.

I upload my new Curl.php to this posting!
The file should be uploaded to /yourRosterDir/lib/api/tools/Curl.php.

Notice: I strongly recommend to make first a backup of the original file Curl.php.
