Here's a (temporary?) fix that I'm using:

In file rpgo.lib.lua, on line #237, change the text:

to this instead:

This patch fixes the problem, but I'm not sure if there's a "real" problem that this is just covering up.

not a problem. me already get the patch updated to cover the original game files. no fleabites are generated up to now.
