I was wondering when Character Profiler and Guild Profiler will be updated for the 3.2 patch that came out this past Tuesday. I have to disable these addons or my game freezes when opening certain items such as professions, etc.

The freezing comes from CP trying to scan the professions, since each patch wipes out the cache for items, this causes wow to query the server for each recipe and each regent item, so this causes wow to slow down quite a bit and in most cases freeze it.

Disable CP, open your professions, open a lot of them, then re-enable CP. By then they should be in the cache and CP shouldn't freeze anymore.

CP really needs a way to throttle this scanning so this doesn't happen

This is a separate addon set used as part of the Altoholic Addon. Might be useful, if it can be used to retrieve data for the rosters.
