AS 2.7.1 T_NEW error

Postby pitschi81 » Sun Jun 07, 2009 9:16 am

Hi there!

I've got a "new" error, at least I found nothing about in this board. Everytime I try to update the memberlist or the charakters of the guild the following error occurs after 1-2 seconds I clicked the button:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_NEW in /mnt/web6/53/11/51449511/htdocs/forum/roster/addons/armorysync/inc/armorysync.class.php on line 1592

I don't know what to do, what could that be?

What's your PHP version? AS isn't compatible with PHP 4.

That's it! I was using PHP version 4, now I changed it to v5 and it works! Thanks for the hint! :D

So, the error wasn't new ..... cause PHP 5 is needed to run AS, euh, ArmorySync.
Thought Ulminia did said that somewhere.

BTW : PHP4 isn't maintained anymore. Switch it off :check:

I am getting the same error.

According to my host control panel I am running on PHP ver 5.2.6

Do I need to change something in a config file somewhere to make sure it is running on this?

Thanks in advance.

Well after some thought, its a long time since I messed with my website, I remembered .htaccess files.

added

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php
SetEnv PHP_VER 5

to the roster root directory and all seems good now. I think.....
