Not at all, I just didn't think it was necessary to make a new post about our downloads section situation.

As for the download situation, we want full control over our resources...so sourceforge may be out of the question.


If Bandwidth is an issue, Offloading WoWroster to curse or sourceforge, etc might alleviate that particular issue.

I was trying to download WoWRoster, but i'm not able to at the moment. Didn't realize it til just now. Good luck with the transfer, I'll be waiting til at least the core WoWroster comes up.. :)

Bandwidth isn't an issue, we still have the same amount of bandwidth available at the same transfer speeds, our issue is the format of our previous download module (for DragonFly CMS) we used isn't compatible with the new module we use (for phpBB3)

We either need to seal ourselves away for a few days and hack code from the DF version to work in phpBB3, or figure out a way to adapt the phpBB3 module.
(I'm all for the code hacking part :thumbs: )

not sure how your old download section worked but as a temp solution you could put the files into a folder on the server and just create a topic called downloads and post in the topic links to the downloads and all the information about the programs/mods or whatever. that way it is also in the search and people like me can still download the files. lol, thats what i did with mysite till i get a downloads section. but i'm making an entire cms instead of just a download addon to phpbb3.

If you guys do actually need a place to store files for a couple days, I've even got a fast svn server.

Really I just found out about this site and am eager to integrate roster with my guild's site :)

We have all the files, and we have the database data from the previous download module. We just haven't translated that over to anything yet since we do not like the download module that you can currently see.

I think I may just get a directory listing script and point it to where the files currently are.

hello every body,

I have red all this section, but i don't find the answer to my question.

I am searching where I can download Roster and the Interface Imagepack.

When i click on them at this page :

I have a 404 error not found.

Is there any one who can help me to download these two thing.

P.S. : I hope my english ins't to bad, I am a french speeker and I don't have a lot of accasion to practice my english

The 404 error on the links are because they still point to the old download system.

It's new, it's different, and I'm still getting used to it. But good work guys! The new site looks pretty good. I hope everything goes well with the download section and the new tracker. Can't wait to see them! :salute:
