I've read lots of Threads now, and I've found a few threads where people have the same problem as I. But nowhere I could find a solution.

When I tried to first upload CharacterProfiler.lua I got the following message:
"[] does not exist or is not readable by PHP"

I guess that the file is too big (2,3 MB), but since it's not my server I'm not able to access php.ini.

I just tried http://www.wowroster.net/Forums/viewtopic/t=2860.html
and now the message is:

* Fehler während Analyse von CharacterProfiler nach 0 Sekunden

I don't know what to do... I love this program and I want to use it. Is there any way to upload the cp.lua in a different way, like uploading the file as a .zip file oder in parts?

Create a file called 'phpinfo.php' in your roster directory, and insert the contents

Navigate to this file (your roster URL, and append '/phpinfo.php'), and in the output find 'upload_max_filesize'

The number next to this is the maximum size of uploaded files to your server.

If it is less than the size of your CP.lua, you're screwed. NetherPanel has a feature to split up CP.lua in smaller, valid chunks. I think UU has that too nowadays, but I'm not sure. You could also try contacting your host about it.

It's like the Server info from the Roster configuration also told me:
upload_max_filesize 2M

Nice. I'm screwed. I don't think my hoster'll let me upload bigger files.

I'll try UU now... we'll see.

UU will help since it supports gzipping the lua file
Turn this option on in UU and your CP.lua file should be down to about 1/5 of the size
