hey there i just started my guild website and i have installed wowroster and armorysync but when i try to sync it with armory it says " The guild given does not exist in the Armory. " i have a pic

im using wowroster 2.0 and armorysync 2.6.0.373
my guild name is Red Lighting in server Emerald Dream (EU)

i have tested to import your guilddata with ArmorySync in one of my local roster, without any problems.

I´ve used the latest SVN Version v2.6.0.378 of ArmorySync.

Are you sure that the armory was online on trying to insert the data?

i don´t really know if a normal user can get read access to the roster-addon svn or only addon developer.

Maybe look in the top menu -> community -> SVNergy.

That the import won´t work, could also be a hoster problem. Some webhosters have deactivated some needed functions for ArmorySync for security reasons.

can you tell what functions needed by armorysync that hosters normally disable please

i can´t tell you which function AS use to get data, because i have not looked at the code. But i think cURL or fsockopen is used to read the data from the armory.

and do you know about any free hosting wich has the requirements for roster and AS?

i don´t know if there´s a free hoster with the requirements for roster and AS. I know from our german wowroster fan site, that some users have problems with free hosters.

But why must it be free? There are many webhosters, where you paid a small monthly value (maybe 1 - 2 Euros). There you have no popups or layer ads, who irritate (hope this is the right word) your member

i dont want to pay because the website doesnt wort it it is just a html website + roster and maybe i found one

bonjours a tous, je dois avoir plus ou moins le même souci que cette personne mais en français sachant que je suis chez free et que cela doit venir de ma config certainement une modif a faire pour que cela refonctionne, de plus j'ai également le server status qui ne s'update pas, également une modif a faire dans la config, s'était le cas dans l'ancien wowroster si quelqu'un peu m'éclairer sur les modifs à faire,
