today i installed the new wowroster including the members list addon. because we are a german guild and german players like to use special characters in their names.

the system has no problem to put these characters in the members list but the twink tool wont do so.

i want to describe the situation:

- all twinks have "Twink von name" in the public notice so i entered correctly "/Twink von ([\w]+)/" in the firt field

so when i have a main char with special characters it looks like this: Twink von Ássassinè. But the system doesn't identificate the main char which is in the same guild. the twink system works perfectly with characters without such characters.

There have been many topics on this in the AltMonitor forum
The alt code is essentially the same in MembersList

This can be fixed if your server has php 4.4 or 5.1 or higher

The reason this is not default is because Roster's minimum requirements are for php 4.3, and this regular expression is not supported in php 4.3

so I have to hope that the provider is going to update php as soon as possible to 5.*

they said they will do so but at the moment it wont be so
