Hi All,

Wow my first post I have always been rather proud that I have been able to sort most of my issues out by myself or by broswing this forum but alas that time has come to an end .

Yesterday I moved my entire website to a new hosting service including my roster system. I made sure that everything was the same as far as databases, passwords and such and roster works perfectly but all of a sudden Uniuploader is not updating anymore

If I look at the debug I get the following info

[2008/06/12 01:10:44] PvPLog.lua - No Compression. Upload Size: 25 KB
[2008/06/12 01:11:04] Upload Error: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.


THe domain is exactly the same and nothing has changed apart from the host. I even made sure that all the version of PHP, mysql and apache were all fine and I found a thing about making sure the public.html directory was chmod to 750 or 755 but to no avail.


My Uniuploader verson is 2.6.7
Anyone have any ideas

You're on roster 2.0, but your UU is still configured with the upload URL for 1.7.3. This worked on your old host, probably because it supported mod_rewrite, and it doesn't work on your new host, because it doesn't support mod_rewrite.

The correct upload URL is http://www.pacificblades.net/roster/?p=update

This new Upload-URL should be Postet in the FAQ. I've searched halfe the evening to solve this problem... btw, thx for the repley

Call me silly, but when I click on the Update profile button in the main WoWRoster menu, I'm being taken to a URL.

I always presumed that that was the URL to be programmed in UniAdmin, and UniUpLoader.

Because, after all, UniUpLoader isn't the Wizard of Ozz, it just post the LUA files on that page, as do manual updaters.

I had to modify the upload-address to: URL-to-roster/index.php?p=update&a=g:1
After that Uniuploader works now as a charm
