functions in addons

k i got my addon like 90% done but my function's are in the lib/wowdb.php(roster 1.7.3) every thing eles works great.
so when callin the update.php it looks into the class wowdb for the fuctions.
where do i put my addon functions in my addon folder so when wowdb is called mine can be aswell? just need a little push.

Several 'official' addons use the update hook.

Just check the Vault, memberlist, guildhistory addons how they implemented the hooks (on char and guild base).

EventCalendar can also be used as en exemple.

For your own general functions, use a file like functions.php in the /inc directory.

The AddonSDK is made for 2.0, not 1.7.3

I took your advice and dl'ed the guild bank addon and seen that it was a matter of seting vars but i was going at it wrong when pushin vaule's to the database.

plus i was able to get 2 good snips from it the "addon login" and a way to set up my config and a self install hint :p...
well my addon is done and its all in my addon folder thank god there isnt any cut and past job to install.

im goin over some bugs i found while sorting thu some pages hope to have it up tomorrow or today. btw there are headers needed on top of each page, just make them with PhpDocumentor or ya have any thing eles to do this 4 ya?
