PvPLog is dead (not)

I am assuming that PvPlog is dead being it has not been updated or released to the public since Jan 2008..

I don't know if you have been paying attention to all the addon forums and ui blizzard forums, I am not alone..

Alpha doesn't mean a thing to typical user. Alpha code just means it's not ready for prime time and still testing phases..

But right now as it stands no pvplog works since patch 2.4, that's one month as of today.

So that means you call it "dead"?

When it's being actively developed and actually has a semi functional version for WoW 2.4

WoW 2.4 completely changed the combat log and any addon relying on it (such as PvPLog) has to be completely recoded to work again
Essentially, this makes PvPLog for 2.4 a new addon

bsmorgan codes this for free on his spare time and asks nothing for it (except testers for the alpha/beta versions)

He has been working hard and asking for testers to get it working again, but yet you still declare it "dead"

Am I missing something here?

I declared it dead based on a simple clear fact. The public one is does not work.

Until such a time in the future if working build release (non alpha or beta) to the public is made then it will live once more and when that day comes I will personally spam the hell out of all the mod forums that it does..

PS: it's nice to see someone using Dragonfly...

Where I come from, they call someone who just throws some stupid statement into a forum without bothering to read any of the recent history a troll.

All I can say is "Please don't feed the trolls".
