I'm installing wowroster 1.7.3
I'm using this guide http://roster.thumann.dk/joomla_guide/

I'm upto the characterprofilers

When I go to my wow dir/wtf/account/accountname/savedvariables/

there is nothing in there named: characterprofilers.lua


so I did a search in wow WoW dir and nothing came up for characterprofilers

What do I do now ?

Alright ignore that I have it, had to download the profiler.

now that I have it and I try to use it and update it keeps telling me

Could not find guild: 'Once Were Noobs' for server 'Frostmourne'
You need to load your guild first and make sure you finished configuration

Now I looked through some of the options like for realm status, it has Eu and US, Im on AU, as in Australia, Frostmourne, is this an issue or why I cant continue with the roster as its not designedf or AU Servers

actually AU is Oceania

I dont see where I'm meant to update members first...

well its definitely my guild on Frostmourne on oceania Servers, but it cant find it cause its look for it on EU and US

But the region is considered US, whereas EU is all of Europe

As for your problem, you need to have GuildProfiler as well to upload guild information

I have guildprofiler now in my wow addons, I've checked it, and see it is there.

I have gone back to guild configuration again have made sure my guild name is correctly spelt same for the server name.
Saved it.
Clicked update profile, re done that,

But the region is considered US

Uh, No, it's classed as what it is, which is "Oceania"

Same with realm server status you cannot make any Australian Servers down because in the code they added, EU and US, nothing for Oceania

WoW Server Status etc like from guild launch etc it cannot display any status of Australian servers because they dont fall under US Servers

Make sure you are entering the Roster admin password when uploading CP.lua

When the data in the WoW API is concerned, the region is US
This is what I mean by US is the region for Oceania
'Frostmourne' is on the list of realms on the realm status page http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/realmstatus

Look for this in your CP.lua file

The 'datakey' line will tell you the region and the version of WoW

If it is not US, then I am completely wrong and I'm sorry for all the arguing

Shh, pretend your seeing it as, AU or something

It still was returning same errors even using password like I was.
So i logged in game, ran around for a bit, logged out, re-attempted it now it works

maybe guildprofiles needed me to login to recognise its existing ?

It's possible that the guild data was not in the CP.lua file
