Well since some time my siggen not working for new members to the guild, while the old ones generated (and updating) fine.

I have 1.7.3 with siggen 026.

resetted after update etc.

Ive seen some post about this error on 024 but that help dont help me.
So thought id give it a shot

any Idea mate?

There is no getimagesize() on line 957

I would suggest re uploading the siggen files and make sure you overwrite the old files

thats right, ive been looking into the siggen.php an the only line containing this is line 713-714 :

$info = getimagesize($filename)
or debugMode( $line,$php_errormsg );

I did overwrite all files actually as I just dragged 026 over the old directory and resetted. all the old users about 120 players use the old sigs on our forums and I changed imagepacks , background, letters and all tonight and that all works 100%. Seems this error only occur on new guildmembers or members that have not uploaded their LUA file.

Weird thing : when i updated it all worked till i put on save images on server... now when i turn it on or off dont fix the problem so that dont help me either. As far as i think its something to do with the default background image that somehow doesnt get called correctly. been looking into the code and setting for over 7 hours now but still no luck. Will ask a guildmember that is new to upload a LUA and see if that fixes the problem for this specific user, then atleast I got a solution since non uploaders have no need/want/use for a sig anyway.

Well had some new members upload their profile and the signatures work just fine once they uploaded 1x. So only problem is with ppl that dont have uploaded to the roster yet. they dont get any image at all just empty.

For me this not really a problem because non uploaded profiles are of little interest as a banner subject, but still am wondering where the missing file should be when he tries to build the default non char. specific banners.

well thats there at ../roster/addons/siggen/img/background/defaultsig/default.png

And check the default background setting too
