Edit /roster/localization/enUS.php and find a line that looks like this (approx. line 282):

'Mechanostrider'=>'Ability_Mount_MechaStrider',


change that line to:

'Mechanostrider Piloting'=>'Ability_Mount_MechaStrider',

Fix included in Roster 1.7.1 SVN.
Roster 2.0.2 svn [latest] latest trunk SVN svn [latest] running on IIS7/Windows Server 2008 SP2 | MySQL 5.0.85 | PHP 5.2.10 | Yes, Roster and PHP rocks on IIS! Even run as FastCGI extension!
