Where to get it? Is there a DL-Link for your version supporting FR (possibly DE) ?

Holgi :P

Am I the only one to see the downloadable file in my post ? :?:

[edit : external link removed due to subxero post]

:D

To adapt it to deDE, just create the deDE file in locale directory (and edit it for your language ;) ) and then edit the char/index.php. Replace the french word for professions (and so on) by the german version (look in the roster master locale if you have doubt about the word used by the roster) and modifie the locale=frFR by locale=deDE in the allakhazam link (use live source instead of test if it's better)...

Good luck, this is pre-pre-pre-pre-alpha and very-very-very-very-dirtyXD

Chris.

And its not better use $roster->data['clientLocale'] to get locale from character
and use $roster->locale->wordings[$locale][$word] to translate to every 4 languages ?

Wowhead only have enUS..
And Armory don't have recipes :/
Allakhazam its the only one with ambiguos data :(

Greaaaaaaaaaaaaaat ! \o/

I was wondering how to do this properly.

Thanks a lot Sub !

Yep, only enUS for wowhead... wowdbu.com and judgehype.com are up-to-date but only frFR... Allakhazam was a good choice but the db needs to be clean... mmmmm... :?

You can set a different URL grabbers depending of clientLocale ..

But if get different data format then need create a new parser functions for these URLs.

In MadeBy I used another tactic... Create a own DB array from a Wow Mod, at momemt only works with enUS .. but I'm getting the whole DB translation.. and the speed/quality results its the best.

And yes a local DB need update .. but allakhazam or wowhead don't change his format any time ? xD

Looks great have 2 request

1. I know that other have asked for this in the past version.
Tool tip on mouse over on the icons of the recipes
2. Filter out recipes that only the other faction can get.

I don't know what you mean with "bank availablity". Could you please explain?
Someone made a modification to the original 1.7.x Missing Recipes addon that gave you an extra colum, showing if any recipes was available in the guild bank. Examples: http://213.187.181.218/thh/roster/addon ... eadd=Wyren
and
http://213.187.181.218/thh/roster/addon ... =Jikokuten

The modified addon was posted on these forum, so I guess the files can be found here somewhere... :)

Teta68 wrote:I looked at the wowhead site, and I can't find a way to show all recipes of a certain profession on one page. It always shows the first 50, there's no "show all" option. If you can find a way to show them all on one page, I would be willing to give you the option of using allakhazam or wowhead in the addon.
Like someone mentioned, wowhead only has enUS, and it's a bit harder to mine data from the site. Problem with Allakhazam is their "dirty" database.
One option is use a local database, and have a setting as to how often it should sync it with allakhazam, looking for new recipes. To remove the "dirty" data, it'd need an admin interface where you could disable certain recipes (like the "Disenchant", "Charged Scale of Onyxia" etc for enchanting). Disabling them in an admin interface would prevent them to pop up again after a sync against Allakhazam.

There is no data in this addon. Every time you use the addon it checks the allakhazam database to get it's information. So as soon as 2.4 data is on allakhazam, you should see it show up in the addon.

As far as I know, this addon is now free from sql and php bugs, but ofcourse you never know until you find one :)

The bank availability modification to Missing Recipes is here:
http://www.wowroster.net/Forums/viewtopic/t=1041.html

But it was only designed to work with Guild Bank in 1.7.3. I have no idea if you could get this to work with the guild vault (which I personally would prefer).

Other than that, thank you for porting this!

Clearly allakhazam has changed their database layout. I'll have a look at it later this month and see if I can fix it.

MissingRecipes port to V2

Postby Teta68 » Mon Jun 23, 2008 5:54 pm

So allakhazam has added the &tier=apprentice, journeyman, expert, artisan and master to the URL. To still have one big list of recipes, I start by grabbing the apprentice list and then add the journeyman list to it, then the expert list to that, etc.
Your list of missing recipes is now complete again.
I haven't touched the rest yet, so you still get a lot of skill numbers. Suffice to say that you can start making whatever it is from the lowest number you see and that you won't skill up anymore from the highest number you see. I'm not quite sure yet if I will retain this information, and if I do, how I will represent it.

Teta

Updated it again. Not uploading the files to the forum anymore, you can find it in the download section.

Fixed bugs:
- Link on the icon now correctly points to allakhazam.
- Recipes, formula's, designs, etc... now display and link correctly.

Here's a direct link to the download section: http://www.wowroster.net/Downloads/details/id=135.html

Enjoy,

Teta
