Automatic update of ACE2 addons / cronjob / Question

no idea how to help but i am intrigued with the cron job idea of getting things from wowace.com

sadly i have no idea how i would even go about scripting that is there anyway i could have a look at the script/commands u use to get it done?

I guess we are pretty close to get this down as long as we are able to refresh UniAdmin and its MD5 hash in the DB.

the idea of having something auto update the ace addons is pretty cool.

Does this mean a beta UA will be out soon?

edit: Zanix, with your permission I can tinker with UA in the SVN?

Oh defiantly, the code is mostly the same before I messed with it
I just put a pretty shell around it

detection of outdated ace addons is working.

need to make the ace processor include the "ace title" when inserting in the addons table

needs a couple more stubs done

Didn't Zanix say he was going to open it for anon read? If so I'll set that up.

fyi ive been developing on the latest MySql 6 Alpha version - and I've seen zero problems so far :thumleft:

I took a quick look yesterday and I couldn't understand what was going on
But then again, I was at work for 10 hours and up since 5am

I made stubs to see what ace addons are out of date.

Now it needs stubs for updating/"processing" them
