I know in previous versions of roster a guildless toon could not be uploaded to wowroster.

I was wanting to make a roster for my wow server, gonna buy a domain and hosting etc. where people could upload there profile guilded or not.

Is that possible in Roster 2?

Short answer yes
Use % as a wild card in "Upload Rules"

Just remember to make another entry as the default so pages without the guild parameter don't error

To allow any guild to upload their guild data, use the guild upload rules.
To allow characters without a guild, or characters whose guild data is not in the roster, to upload, use the char upload rules.
