I'd like to run a 2nd instance of wowroster but just for our raid... Our raid is populated by ppl from 2 guilds & some independants rude guys :
so I'd like to be able to list all the members (using text, csv, html form or whatever) then feed the roster, then sync with armory...

I'm quite sure that many people running a raid will enjoy this feature...

Someone already tried ? Poetter plans or should I give a try and do it myself ?

In roster 2.0 beta, you can specify a per-character allow rule for every character in your raid group. If you do this only those members will be able to upload their CP.lua, and I assume armorysync also uses that list to decide what member records to pull.

However, this construction means guild updates will be ignored completely.

I'm not sure that ArmorySync (in its current version) can sync ppl outside a guild (if they have not been uploaded before)

Of course people could upload their cp.lua... but if they were really doing it, armorysync would be useless (and with our guildies, that's really not true)

but I agree the html form that allow to specify authorized ppl could be the good entry point, but armorysync need to be tweaked so it can use it.
