It does not work for us...
After selecting the Fraction the message appears:
"The Module [Guild] does not exist".

What went wrong?
We did not use this AddOn before so the Installation is from the scratch.
Any hints?

Happy for you but your question is still valid.

I posed the question overhereif some one has an idea about it.

omg, I got the exact same problem. I made a post about it in the Made By forum, too.

I switched back from alternative URL's on to off, and now all the addons are working again.

This issue has been solved.

This addon lists for a faction all members of a Guild that are related to it.
The list is being sorted from exalted to hated.

  • Finally made this addon compatible with the "Alternative URL" mode, thanks to pleegwat who showed me the light.

  • Spanish Present (thanks to Subxero) - admin section needs to be translated

  • What I did manage to do, is adding a roster admin config option that handles the case : should the list contain all players, or only those that uses the roster language ?
    So, when you use a basically English roster, you could exclude that silly French guy in your Guild, who's responsable of inject all these French faction names in your list - making it twice as long - with all these strange 'foreign-faction-names' in it.
    Political reason: push him to localize to English, to make his factions show up ]
    I’ll leave this option in the admin section, admitting that this should be an end-user choice later on.

Would it be possible to just parse the foreign factions and translate them to the roster language and display everyone in that language? Unless this is something Roster itself should/could do on update.

Couldn't call it Reputation in the beginning, for technical reasons (class name conflict).
That has been solved.
Reputation 1.9.9.1569 has the same functionally as reputation 1.7.3

Actually, I exactly planned this kind of layout already.
It will be a huge (very wide) table if we take all factions.
Your example is BC limited - this can be done, the info is already present.
I'll get back on this one.

Meaning: I'm still looking for a table with ALL factions - in ALL languages (at least: enUS, frFR, esES & deDE).
This will imply that on every moment Blizzard decides to change a name in a language, or adding a name - the addon breaks – and me or you have to modify the tables – in all languages (or, at least, the languages used in your roster).
A solution to handle this is using default values when installing - and having the admin user the possibility to modify the tables - like the roster addon "Key BC".

So understand that there is no way to extract all factions from IG (=CP.lua) - and especially the needed language relations.

Note that I do consider your question as a real “have to do” to really finish this addon.

[edit] : Wait a minit : in a big guild, chances ar great that all the membres combined represent a complete list of all reputation and factions possible.
I can use AS to 'rob' some guilds (esES, deDE etc) and wind up with a populated SQL reputation table.
This has to be done for Alliance en H2 Guilds.

Concerning ripping the data for to populate the faction name table: Why bother with other guilds?
Just rip the data from the database of the current site - if nobody there has rep from a faction it imho isn't neccessary to list it anyway.

I have a English guy (lost in France, that happens a lot ) who has English Quest names.
How my addon should know that i.e. his reputation "The Aldor" should be translated to the French "L'Aldor" (because my roster is natif French) - more worse example are present.

Got the picture ?

If I include this option, I'll better inlude ALL languages (4 right now), for ALL factions.

I synced to the 'internal' roster addon versions.
2.0.0.x is more a prime time release number, so I brought 2.0.0x back.
The file in the first post is the most recent.

At enUS get out one 'a' from 'Include all langauages'

And try these translations

Credits to WowACE team with Babble-Faction 2.2 I only get a macro to format the data to one array I used the same macro to next major version with MadeBy... It will learn to translate every recipe-skill-data to same locale
