Spellbook Descriptions

Postby Denwel » Wed Jul 05, 2006 6:17 am

I have noticed that the description line of certain items like Soulstone (Greater) or Healthstone (Minor) are so long that they go beyond the graphic for the spellbook frame. Is anyone else having this problem and if so is there a fix for it?

This is the character profile for my own character. Click on the Demonology tab and look at the various Healthstones and Soulstones.

Any ideas on the best way to fix it would be appreciated and thanks for taking a look at it .

I have same problem in Opera 7.5/8.5 web-browser. In Spellbook and Character Tab some texts placed not in correct positions.

In Spellbook all spell/ability names shifted to left. They have start X coord same as spell icon, so spell name draw on icon.

In Character Tab all stats values shifted up on 1 row, so in position where must be strenght value - draw Agility value, but labels of this stats draw in correct positions. Also XP bar draw between stats area and weapon slots. Also, I see only crit and dodge probablities, because group crit/dodge/parry/block draw right above stats area.

If I use IE 6.0 all draw correct... Yeah... But I don't like IE... =0\

As I know from my web-programming practice - Opera more conformity to HTML/XHTML/CSS specification than IE.

Ok guys thanks. I didnt even think about viewing it across platforms, I personally am using IE. Knowing that it looks different from browser to browser and the fact that it is such a miniscule detail I doubt I will worry about it, I was really wondering if someone else had a quick .css fix to cause the description detail to do a linebreak or something. I have to say overall that the new version of WoWRoster looks great guys, I am loving it in comparison to version 6.0.

Great job on version 7.0 guys and the new forum looks good to. Keep up the good work.
