i have installed on the web account but not working!

It´s coming the message...

Die Installations-Definitionsdatei für QDKPViewer enthielt keine korrekte Installations-Klasse

the same is coming by qdkp viewer. Allright it´s the wrong Forum for it! ^^

I think this has been mentioned in a few other posts on this forum aswell, but anyhow...

What you need to do is to go to the folder for the addon (for KeyBC it is

Code: Select all

roster/addons/KeyBC/inc/

and edit the file

Code: Select all

install.def.php

Look for the following line:

Code: Select all

class Key_BC

and change it to

Code: Select all

class Key_BCInstall

The same goes for other addons, just add the "install" it after the class <addonname>.

Wouldn't it be easier to stop this problem by releasing a changed version?
It's - to be honest - not that big change to make it working properly.
But why have hundreds of Beta-Users to do the change instead of providing a corrected version what would also stop the searching, researching and correcting of this bug?

I just downloaded the addon

first thing he told me after unpacking
he said that Key_BC has no Installer class

But it worked fine after i edited "addons/Key_BC/inc/install.def.php"
and changed

class Key_BC

to

Code: Select all

class Key_BCInstall
