Problem with main/alt relation in french

Postby hacknisty » Sat Aug 25, 2007 10:29 pm

Hi,

I've got a problem in main/alt relation with french accented letter (é è à ...)

When a player name with one of this letter is a main or a alt, it is not associated with anyone.

You can see the problem here : Guild List

The player Abyssellia have one alt who's named Féliane. As you can see it is not associated.

As far as i know, my characterprofiler.lua is encoded correctly, and it seems that the problem occur in database.

My WowRoster version is : WoWRoster v1.9.9.1267 (i've made a svn update today).

Please let me know if i can help :)

Thx for this great job that make my life more easier ;)

Problem with main/alt relation in french

This is a known issue with AltMonitor, which this feature is based on. There are several workarounds.

Since you're running php 5.1.6, the (in my opinion) best fix should work, which is replacing "\w" with "\pL" in your regex.
