Is it possible to use wowroster but not use a guild? I would like to setup a database of all my friends that are on different guilds.

It is Possible, but not with 1.7.3. You would have to use the Beta version of Roster 2 ( previously known as Roster 1. SVN[1267] i think.

You can configure the upload rules to allow all guilds on a specific realm, or all realms, or characters.

Characters can not be removed yet.... So, an entire Guild...

Removing Guild info ? Go PhPMyAdmin and blow it away ?
Or just declare another Guild in the admin section - and remove your fisr Guild line.
You migt even put the first one in the Refuse block.

[edit] You can also try a Roster reset (admin function).

(remember : V2 is still in the debug phase - have to learn this new ball game myself to ).
