svn[1267] alt-statistics in main menu

the number of alts in left part of the main menu is 0 for all level ranges. but we have many alts in all level ranges

hm, ok.

why does this counter not use the setting from alt/main relations in memberlist addon?? the memberlist may be an addon but its one essential part of the roster

You just answered your question...

Settings in the main config are available to addons but not vise versa.
We would have to load every addon's data every page load and if you get alot of addons, that could mean plenty of data to load just so we can use a setting in an addon

And also, what if someone doesn't want to use memberslist, what if they use a slimmer 1.7.3 like version, maybe called simplemembers or something?
Then the alt setting won't exist thus breaking the menu.
