Do you mean by going to modules.php?name=Roster&op=updateprofile and then entering the admin password, that doesn't work for me. When I enter the password it just throws me back to the same page asking for the password.

July 20 nuke port update! installation fix

Postby scapegoat » Sat Jul 22, 2006 8:45 pm

Sweet. I followed your instructions and got all the main stuff working.

I know you are working on addons, but I wanted to mention the ones that I am having specific problems with.

1) AltMonitor - when I click the button for it, it takes me to the install screen; but when I click the install button, it just directs me back to my Nuke main page and doesnt appear to install the tables it is suppose to.

2) Reputation - I get a dropdown to pick which faction I would like to check; but when i click the button I get to a 404 page not found error

3) ItemSets - clicking the ItemSets addon button brings me to a blank page within nuke

4) GuildStats - works fine, but it messes up the nuke blocks pretty bad and all the stat blocks from the addons show up wayy at the bottom of the screen

5) phpRaidSync - can't seem to find my phpRaid installation, no matter how I define the path in the .conf file

Man, none of this is your job =) I totally appreciate that you got Roster all nuked up, and I love it. These are just the things that I have found, so don't think I'm dumping it on ya =)

k, I testet the Siggen Fix of undood!

everything works fine, I can install and open + configure the addon.

The only problem is that the Signature and the Avatar graphics are not displayed..

Sorry I haven't had time to poke at Siggen more since I posted. I do plan to poke at it more this coming week (and then the next project is ItemSets)
If anyone gets the images sorted in Siggen before then please feel free to post :thumleft:

The password to update your guild roster is the same password to go in config section. so if you can't access config you probably don't have the right password.

to update your guild roster you need to click the save button ingame under the guild listing and log out. You upload CharacterProfiler.lua just like you would upload your char but you have to enter the passwork and click the update button to upload with the password.

i have some homework to finish if i have time i'll check the other addons just post the problems i'll see if it's a quick fix

yea Im having the same issues with the addons.

I also have compare loaded and when I click the compare icon I get

The requested URL /phpnuke/addon.php?roster_addon_name=compare&char1=Dealanach&char2=Dealanach does not exist.

this is at my guildsite of www.efwowguild.com

I took a quick peek at this one as I had never used it before...

I don't have time to fix the whole thing right now but if you want to play you can start here:

Open: compare_chat.php
Find: Line 310
Code: Select all
$content .= "<form action="addon.php" method=GET name=myform>\n";
$content .= "<input type="hidden" name="roster_addon_name" value="compare">\n";

and replace with:
Code: Select all
$content .= "<form action="modules.php" method=GET name=myform>\n";
$content .= "<input type="hidden" name="name" value="Roster">\n";
$content .= "<input type="hidden" name="op" value="addon">\n";
$content .= "<input type="hidden" name="roster_addon_name" value="compare">\n";

That will get the page to open, but formatting and linking are gone to shit.
If you don't get to it sooner it's at the bottom of my large pile.
