Disliking Vista more each day

I've even tried running it in admin mode - but I can't get 2.6.7 to install. Does anyone have a suggestion? UniUploader appears to be working fine - I just keep getting the message to install the update.

wierd, all i can say is download the latest

I dont have vista so i cant really troubleshoot

yea i had the same problem and am also running vista... Just downloaded the latest manually instead

try unzipping the stand allone package to your desktop and using it there. it should work correctly if the binary exe resides in your profile area instead of the program files area

I've got Vista, just downloaded 2.6.7 and it installed and runs no problems.

One thing I did when I installed Vista - turned the damn UAL thing off, those popups were annoying and I'm sure add to problems when installing software.

I copied the app to my desktop and ran it again in admin mode. That seems to have done the trick.

I could have sworn I tried that last night.

Thanks for all the recommendations. That "install new version" message has vanished.

In my opinion, that's maybe the worst issue with vista. They do a nice bit of actual security improvements. Then they leave in the option that turns it off.

Why, but why are you using Vista on a computer you're playing on ?
