I'm having a few problems in getting juu to upload my chr profile. When i start juu it connects to ua ok and syncs the config data ok, but when it comes to uploading my saved variables nothing seems to happen. In the log it just tells me that my chrs are marked for upload but it never uploads them. I've also noticed that in the ju saved variable list, it lists all fo my saved variables for all my addons, im not sure if this is causing the problem or not but im unable to change the list.

Any ideas on what might be going wrong here, and i apologise if rhis has been answered already but after searching for an hour I havn't been able to find an answer.

I've not used Juu but I have noticed that you cannot upload UU char stats while logged into the realm (Have to be at char selection or logged out completely). This may be because the saved-variables files are locked by the game(?).
Make sure you are at least logged out to character selection before attempting to upload char stats. If that's not the problem though, sorry i can't help any further :s

Could I see that log output? Do you see any uploading taking place in the progress bar?

Is WoW running while doing this? Are you using Windows? Did you try with WoW shut down? It shouldn't matter normally, but it's possible windows does some funky locking stuff (just as retarded as not being able to open the same Word document twice).

Did you try manually uploading your CharacterProfiler.lua? Via your roster's web interface, that is. Is CharacterProfiler.lua selected in the Saved Variables list?

Doh, im sorry i forgot to mention that im using windows, and i am using it without wow running in the background.

I then entered my upload url and pressed the force upload button and the bar then tells me its uploading saved variables even if they havent changed. and after that does nothing.

My uniadmin saved variable list has only Characterprofile.lua and Pvp.lua lsted but in my juu saved variable list is every lua file in my WoW saved variable folder. I think juu might be trying tp upload them all and I cant seem to edit the list in juu.

I' have also managed to upload manually via web page and also with uu. But much prefer the ease of use and simple feel that juu offers.

Ok. Without upload URL jUU has nowhere to connect to in order to upload the saved variables. So that explains why it's not uploading.

The force upload button makes jUU upload the Saved Variables whether they've changed or not. It makes jUU skip the check to see whether they have been changed.

Are auto-uploads turned on in the config? Do you have a mention on "auto uploader" in the scheduler pane?

That's normal. jUU shows you all possible SVs that you can upload. It uploads only the ones you've got selected in that list; not all the SVs in the list. It should automatically select the SVs that you have turned on in UniAdmin.

As far as I can tell jUU isn't automatically taking on your upload URL.

To diagnose the problem I would need the UniAdmin URL that you're using.

Also, please check whether manually filling in the upload URL makes jUU upload the files properly once they change (it should check whether the files changed every minute).

After manually filling in the upload URL juu doesn't actually upload any files, the bar still sais its uploading even after 10 mins.

I'm starting to think its a problem with my ui settings but I cant seem to see where i'm going wrong. I would be really grateful for any assistance you can provide.

I'm leaving on a holiday with my wife tomorrow and am trying to push a last feature for deployment into jUU (advanced addon search through addon descriptions).

I will be back in two weeks at which point I will investigate further if you haven't been able to discover the issue yet.

Don't hesitate to post any new information you may obtain in that time. Perhaps, also try using UniUploader for Windows to see if that one successfully uploads your data. It might be interesting to know whether the problem is limited to jUU.
