I got this error message:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 3 seconds exceeded in bla bla bla/guildbank/gbank.php on line 438

I have read and found out that something with php.ini i contacted my hoster they said they can't change it but my alternative is to play with a script to see if it works faster somehow? Any help here people? Desperate really.

Holy crap that is extremely restrictive
php's default timeout is 30 or 60 seconds (depending on the version)

It depends on if safe mode is turned on or off. if php safe mode is turned off, go into your settings.php file and right under the <?php tag, input this line:
set_time_limit(60);
this will alow you to setup the max execute time to 60 sec and should be plenty of time to load your site.

Remember this only works if php safe mode is turned off!

hope this help you, else you have to contack you webhost to get them to set it higher.

Ah well it is on and no way they are turning it of... I think changing the webhost is a good idea here

That is an answer to your question as to why it is taking that much time.
4 banks or a bit more load OK. There is trouble with 17

lol, yes normaly 3 sec is okay for small scripts, not bigger coding and scripts like wowroster.

well I was you I would realy consider to change webhost.
If you need one that is realy good and cheap then send me an pm.
