I have one user that is a die hard uniuploader fan.

His uploader was working fine. I made a new install on a subdomain, and he is now unable to update using the uploader, but able to manually.

Upload Error: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.

This happens after a sync check. Ive had him turn off his sync check same problem.

Any insight? I saw a thread further down that was closed by matt, but no solution mentioned that has worked for me.

This is one user that is being affected by this only.

its a network problem. If you look towards the end of the line a clearer message is show ( like timeout connecting ). Some of my users have the same issue. I tell them to mash the upload button like its the sunder key, and eventually it gets through.

I've tried to track down this problem since 2005, it has something to do with .net framework and the way his network packets are comming back to him.

ask him if he has a software/hardware security solution in place, and/or some kind of device that "filters" internet traffic.
