About CharacterProfiler

Hello, don't know where to put this so i put it here.
One of my guildies is having problems using Characterprofiler, he downloaded it through the link in the wowroster instructions.
When he installs it and checks his addon list, it says Incompatible.
He tried disabeling all other addons but it didnt work.
What is this problem?

If i put this in the wrong forum please move it to the right one if necessary and let me know through PM.

Have him download CharacterProfiler from rpgoutfitter.com

rpgoutfitter.com is the one that the instructions link to, that's the weird thing.

If he's got the one from RPGO (CP 2.x), and he gets incompatible, he's running a wow version before WoW 2.0. If he's running a lower wow version and is capable of logging in, he's not on the official servers. And unofficial wow servers aren't supported.

M8 hes called Rysaurus, a lvl 70 warlock on laughing skull, european server, so none of what u just said is the problem.

Hey may have an old version of CP in his addons and he isn't overwriting that version with the new files

Have him delete the Interface/AddOns/CharacterProfiler/ folder and extract the files again

It's so weird, characterprofiler should work with anyone with a normal wow right?

Can your "Guildie" hand over the first lien of this file : C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CharacterProfiler\CharacterProfiler.toc.
It's a normal text (ASCI) file.....
If copying and pasting is still rocket sience for him, let him mail over the entire file (16 lines and less then 1024 bytes).

I'm presuming a default installation here ..... HIS install could be different - we know it's different :scratch:

The nasty question : whats the date of this file ?
