Roster Site loads very slow

Postby ZenLung » Fri Mar 16, 2007 2:41 pm

www.knights-of-aszune.nl/roster

i have been running a roster site for ages already , but since the upgrade to 1.7.2 the site is slow as hell.
i can't figure out why tho, all my other sites that require db access run smooth and fast it's only the roster site that is very slow.
it seems to get stuck right after loading the logo and sometimes after the Guild message.

any idea's as to why?

thank u

Disable Realm Status and see if that helps.
Roster Config->Menu->Realm Status

nvm i found the problem i think.

i tried something posted elsewhere on the forum, it said disable RealStatus.
site runs smooth again now, tip for u devs out there tho. seems that RealmStatus is causing more loading time problems for others also

What about enabling the debug and SQL notifications on your roster ?

The only thing one can say right now is : "Gee, he's right...."

[Mijn god, draai je je roster op een Commodre 64 ?]

Yeah, realmstatus is slow because the blizz site is so slow. If it's in image mode though, it shouldn't affect the speed of the rest of the page.
