Hi there,

over the last weeks I created a "little" addon for the roster. Well it's more a two in one addon ... ;-)

It's called "Faction Rewards".
By adding this addon to your roster you get two new options: Searching through rewards for one single character, or looking through obtained rewards of your guild members by faction (and progression in reputation). Searching by character you see all items and recipes you can obtain from one faction. Items in possession of this character, and known recipes are marked, even bought but not yet learned recipes are marked. :-) Looking by faction, you can choose the progression and the reward type (items or recipes). Characters not matching the required reputation (or having a higher one) aren't shown.
Currently it's already supporting different client locales. (Displaying the rewards in the language of the used client.)

(Yes, roster_lang is deDE, because we are a german guild. But I use the enGB client. ;-) You can already see how it's multi client support working quite well. :-) But currently Argent Dawn is the only faction which is already translated to deDE.)

If you are now asking where the download is: I will hopefully release it around next week. Before making a public release I want to add one last feature Gorgar requested (Specially marking recipes, which can be obtained, because you are matching the required reputation (and profession), but didn't bought it yet.) also I want to go on further with with the deDE data and maybe fixing some bugs or cleaning up some code.

(Ahh, btw. if you already wondered: the Gorgar mentioned above is the one who created ItemSets ... )

So stay tuned till next weak, and maybe discuss this addon. And don't mind making some feature requests. ;-)

one little suggestion
in some selects you can chose the item type (items or recipes)
missing an option which shows you both if you want to see all

Excellent work - I know our guild will definitely be using this.

Just to keep you updated.
I added the last bunch of features to be in release version, now it tells you everything about recipes ... if one is bought, but not learned yet, if you can learn one but don't have the required skill or reputation, or if you basically can learn one recipe and simply missed it. ;-)
deDE version has also grown further and is about 75% completed.
Ahh and Carasak, your request is also in there, in the "by faction" view you will have a third option "all". Be aware that the size will grew far beyond the screen width if there are lots of rewards, but therefore you can filter it for items or recipes. ;-)

So public release isn't far away. :-)

I'm currently working on it, adding the new factions that came with 2.1.0. :-)
(And the still open features are also in there then.)

But tell my what do you mean with PvP Faction Rewards. I'm not a PvP players (only done AV to get a healer offhand, before they changed the honor points system) so I can't imagine what you mean exactly.

Im alliance....was wondering if you could modify the by character portion faction drop down menu to not include the horde factions in the selections?

I just went and looked at the PvP Rewards again and see they only have a level requirement, not faction related. The faction reward is already listed by this addon. That's what I get for making a post when it's so late at night ;x

Yes definitly, and I'm almost finished. I only don't have that much time at hand, because I'm currently moving. But I hope I can finish the last things this week. :-)
