SQL Version

Postby sendrome » Thu Mar 15, 2007 3:12 am

Hello everyone,
I have made a version of the addon that uses a local database to do the queries on. This version supports BC as of version 2.8 and it is fairly easy to install just extract to your addons folder and import the sql file into your database. There is a read me included that should help explain how to install the sql file. This is a beta 1 release so let me know if you have any questions or problems. If you want to see it in action you can see it on our guild website

i have fixed a few bugs mainly with jewelcrafting and first aid not showing up correctly so please update to this version (beta 2). I also added my dbmaker.php script which will extract the data from the websites and turn it into a csv so you can load it into you database. I plan on making this an admin feature in the future so that you can just update your database.

I like the way this seems to work.
Going to give it a shot, thanks for the work you've done on it :)

:cyclops: Do you have a copy of this I could test out? OR can someone please upload an updated version? PLEASE!!!! I can't get it to work properly.

For example... One of the leatherworkers are saying all it is showing is patterns they already know and not the missing ones. But I know for sure that before it showed the missing ones for the characters I tested.

Also, are the item icons not supposed to hover an item stats link?

If anyone can or has done this please post here.

SQL Version

Sendrome,

I was hoping to get this to work sice the allow_url_fopen was prohibiting me from getting the data from the outside servers.

I imported the sql file in my roster database, was that ok? Or did i need to create a new database?

The thing i get now when choosing my character and profession is a white page with the same dropdown menus (profession and character), but no output is generated.

Maybe you can have a look at: The Hooligans

Thnx in advance
