phpRaid Nuked Version

Postby Vlorn » Sat Mar 10, 2007 5:18 am

I took the unofficial 3.0.9.2 phpRaid version and ported it to phpNuke, it has been tested (limited testing so far) on PhPNuke Platinum ver 7.6.b.4. This version has full support for BC content.

The only outstanding issues at this point are;
1. There may be some display issues with the SpiffyJr template, I recommend using the "AI" template.
2. LUA output has been ported and generates the files correctly but has not been tested.

Try it out and report back any additional bugs that are found and I will try to fix them ASAP.

Now i just need to port wowRoster 1.7.3 :blackeye:

BoriTz,
Need a bit more detail here to help you. Did you follow all of the steps in the readme.txt file?

This port is tested under Nuke Platinum 7.6.b.4

Installation steps
-------------------
1) Copy the phpraid dir, to your Nuke/modules/ Dir.
2) Login to Nuke as Admin. and activate the (phpraid) module.
3) load the phpraid module through nuke. or go to http://yoursite/modules.php?name=phpraid
4) Follow the installation process.
WHEN COMPLETE
5) rename or Delete the install Directory.
6) login to Nuke with the user you configured in the install process.
7) go to your phpraid module as in step 3
PHPRAID PRIMARY CONFIGURATIONS
8) go to Configure - Change the info to your needs ( uncheck the "Disable phpRaid")
9) Go to Permissions - Create the permission levels you need. <-- you can set the Default permission to be assigned to users in the configure section.
10) Go to Guilds - Create a Guild Profile.
11) Go to Locations - Create a Location Template.
12) Go to Raids - Create a Raid.
13) Go to Profile - Add a Profile to your account.

14) From the Main Page you can now signup for the test raid created above.

If you did all of this and are still having problems, either link your installation or try to be more specific abotu what is happening.

It is a value in the php.ini file. php.ini is a configuration file for php.

If you site is on your own sever you know where to find it

If your site is hosted out of town, ask host admin to change if you can't do it yourself.

btw. test your sites configuration using http://www.YOURSITE.COM/modules/phpraid/phpinfo.php

replace "YOURSITE.COM" with the address of your site.

After the test, it might be a good idea to remove/rename phpinfo.php for security reasons.

Hi there,

I have started making a guild website based on phpnuke and am having trouble with phpraid.

Firstly, after i active the modules and then click the link all it actualy does is screw up the style sheet of the site - strange? only modification from the orginal site is installing autotheme and putting a guild theme on the site.

So i tried something i saw the a forum basicly pops it into a new window that some other people said worked, this did not really make any differance, so i put it back.

So to try and fix it i went to /modules/phpraid/install.php directly and the installer came up and i was able to install the database etc etc choose auth method and select a user for admin and that was all fine. However still when i click the link on the modules bar it just screws up the template and does not show anything? any idea's?

you can see it yourself at www.thedrafia.org

I also did the php.ini change and restarted and comfirmed that it is "on" in the phpinfo as well, no differance..

Thanks in advance,
Marik

I got mine to work perfectly and really enjoying it so far.

Only thing I'd like to find is the code for a block so I can show the raids on the home page.

Anyone got that code handy perhaps?

phpRaid Nuked Version

Postby orionnt » Tue May 22, 2007 11:04 am

I cant get my installation to work. The installation went fine, and the register_globals is set to "on" in the php.ini file. However when i click on the configuration link, it still does not do anything.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Ok installed good. Now I think I when I get to Configuration Step that's where I run into a problem. Even though I reinstalled 5 times to make sure the username it set right it still won't log me in as admin. Now I'm on Nuke 7.9

There are no errors just won't log me in.

Ok I got it up and running it was a Register_Globals issue in the php.ini file.
Since I didn't have access to the main file on the server I created a custom one and stored it in the HTML folder. Basically the reason why that works is php looks for a custom file stored on the server and that's the second place to look. Attached is the custom file.
