Installation problem, I think?

I've installed everything, followed the instructions, now it's telling me [when I try to click any of the buttons at the middle top of the page]:

Could not find guild: 'Renegade Crusades' for server 'Blackrock'
You need to load your guild first and make sure you finished configuration

Click here for installation instructions

What do I do about that? I've uploaded the CharacterProfiler and PvPLog thing, nothing changed, do I have to do something to finish this?

Are you running the guildProfiler addon? Did you enter the guild update password when you uploaded? Are your addons enabled and capturing data?

I am having the exact same problem. I have followed all the instructions step by step and get the same screen as killer. I've linked a couple screen shots as well.

Upload CP.lua and enter your password in the password box

thank you for the response. however, i've tried to upload the CP.lua file and it just brings me back to the same screen again. I've checked all the spelling of the guild and realm and everything is correct there...

any other suggestions?

ok, well maybe i am missing something. i don't think i have set up a password and don't know what password to put in the box. is there a place for me to setup the passord?

i know you guys are going to get annoyed with me, but please bare with me. am at work and am going off memory with the installation process. i know i have set up a password when i configured everything but i can't remember if i typed in the correct pw when i uploaded the cp.lua. I will try to go through the steps again tonight and let you know exactly what i have attempted to do.

I had a similar issue when some friends and I started a new guild. Drove me nuts for about an hour before I sorted it.

Try this:
Log in to WoW.
->Hit 'O' (social key).
->Go to the guild tab and click save on the upper left hand side.
Close the social page.
Hit 'C' (character key).
Hit save on the upper left hand side (open professions first if u want them scanned).

Exit WoW.
Go upload your characterprofile.lua file.

The -> marked section is the one I forgot to do. Betcha I remember next time.

I was running roster 1.7.2 on another server just fine.

I Moved to a new host and reinstalled roster.

I get a blank webpage when I try to load my guild.

When I go back to the roster page, I get the load your guild message.

I am using the same character profile.lua that has been working on the 1.7.2 site.

I am using the correct admin password.

Torched my cp.lua files and regenerated them, and it worked like a champ.

A lot of my users are experiencing the same problem I was, even if they torch their characterprofiler.lua data and generate it fresh. The fact that they all end up at the same blank http://roster.guild29.com/update.php page is concerning. I would expect some error message if their data wasn't right.

Everybody is using version 2.0.5b.

I must have some permbit or directory path set wrong somewhere. Help?
