Anex,

where can I download Forumspro? Im having issues finding it.

yeah nub question LOL having one of those moments. hahah

Yeh I like the idea of having the officer/leader able to approve and have them added to the site and proper grp.

just have to make sure we do proper checks that the user did not already register for the site prior to applying to this. that way we dont have duplicate users.

Make sure you get version 2 if you have DragonflyCMS 9.1.1 or higher.

I did some tweaks to this module..

Fixed the installer
changed cms_recruitment to ".$prefix."_recruitment (for DF installs whose prefixes are not cms)
I changed the location of {images/class_images} to a directory wowroster has class images in.

Some setting need to be manually entered in appconfig.php (maybe I should throw in a README file)

I suggest to add a security image to prevent bots and such from posting.

look at the Contacts module lines 53 & 59-69

I found a link to your aenigma-excitus website. It doesn't appear to have WoWRosterDF installed. The Application module pulls guild and realm info from WoWRosterDF.

Try editing this modified appconfig.php file. Please set the guild and realm info to match yours and that should fix your sql errors.

If you (or anyone else) renamed your WoWRosterDF install to something else you can change the
Code: Select all
_wowrosterdf_roster_guild
to match your installation.

AARGH, ive just a Homer Moment *doh*

i should have understood the first php-lines in appconfig.

I use a standalone Version of wowroster, perhaps you could modify your appconfig in that way.

so, after uploading it seems to work

Is there a way off turning the forums pro post off and just use the e-mail? I have heard that myndworx.com are stopping support for forums pro

Yes, at the bottom the the confirm.php there is the post function by commenting it out and uncommenting the email function.

the reason why they are not going to support it anymore is because they are in the process of building a fork out of DF and renaming it to NexOs which will be a much more advanced cms which they say forumspro will be able to be used and they will be building an all new version of the forumspro module. When NexOs releases I will be looking at it close and probably convert all DF ports to NexOs as they say they will also be trying to create an upgrade path from DF to NexOs. For now I still think that forumspro still is the best forum software for DF.
