I had trouble with accessing the application form.

in index2.php

Line 44

include("request_form.php");

had to replace with

include("modules/".$module_name."/request_form.php");

to find the request_form

seem to be a few include missing those like in confirm.php

not sure if it'S cause you use LEO link mode that you donT' need to fix those but i don't use LEO and it wont include cause the path is wrong.

Also to note if poeple had the old version they will have to uninstall or remove the old field in the cms_admins table and teh cms_recruitment table

Gotcha... what fields are to be removed? I thought I installed it before, but don't see any relevant fields.

Thanks!

The uninstaller should take care of it..
    Uninstall
    Delete files from previous version
    Upload new files
    Install new version

DF Guild Application w/ Recruitment Block

Postby Equisetum » Fri May 04, 2007 10:37 am

I think this may be user error... me that is... but I'm still having trouble.

I deleted the files before I uninstalled the module. I know... stupid mistake. Now, I can't choose anything to uninstall. I don't see any fields in the cms_ tables. If I try to upload the new version, I just get the option to edit it as if it were already installed...

Any suggestions? Thx for your patience... I'm not programmer. :)

DF Guild Application w/ Recruitment Block

Postby Equisetum » Fri May 04, 2007 2:52 pm

Thanks for responding Robo...

I did what you said, and I still only get the "Edit :: Set as Home" option in the module menu. Nothing that allows me to uninstall.

I don't get any errors at all when I choose "Edit", but I do get the following error when I click on the module itself, "Recruitment Settings" in the module menu:

modules/Recruitment_Settings/index.php

* Warning line 21: main(config.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
* Warning line 21: main(config.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory

* Warning line 21: main() [function.include]: Failed opening 'config.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear')

includes/db/db.php

* CMS Warning line 75: On /Recruitment_Settings.html While executing query "SELECT * FROM cms_recruitment" the following error occured: Table 'dragonfly.cms_recruitment' doesn't exist In: /home/httpd/vhosts/rage-and-mana.com/subdomains/wow/httpdocs/modules/Recruitment_Settings/index.php on line: 31

What the hell did I do!? lol
