I just installed the WoW Roster with no problems, I realized my mySQL is only version 4.0.27, my PHP meets requirements fine. I also read you will not support without proper mySQL version and understand this. I use godaddy and this is the highest they go when I called support and switching to another host is not an option right now.

All I would like to do is have you read the error and tell me if the mySQL version is what is causing the issue and if so will have to try another roster of some form, this came highly recommended so hoping this is not the case. I have read the wiki 3 times, gone through the forum a few times, reinistalled the roster with no luck. This is the error I am given and I hope it is just bad insight on my part.

Could not update "Hand of God". Maybe its not set in configuration?

I have gone over al the documentation a few times and does not seem to help.

the same happened to me i found out i did not put a cap at the start of guild name and server name may be worth a look

OMG dude you rock! I had Hand OF God and it should have been Hand of God with the "of" in lowercase.

I had a feeling it was a simple oversight on my side but not that simple

This error indicates incorrect configuration of the guild/server names (usually capitalization errors). If you only have the 'could not find guild' error, you're probably uploading without guild data or without the officer pass.

Ok, I tried a lot of things, Im not GM, but Im an Officer, if thats whats stopping this working, then I've been wasting a lot of time =D

Anyway, just wondering about this part in the Readme.txt...

I don't have an admin dir and the only file I have that resembles a config anywhere on the server is conf.php which says not to alter it...

Just wondering if this is where I am going wrong then.

Ah right, well, I checked all that there and everything via the web is spot on, but then went to the "roster diag" and saw that at the end, were it checks the files, I see that /roster/lib/ is being reported as Critical, I'll copy/paste the lines that are in red...

I also seen that none of the files match up via md5 checksums and when I checked the versions, I currently have 1.7.2 installed and have only ever downloaded from this site.

Maybe its just me, or some thing that I did wrong along the way, but I've installed it twice now following the directions in the readme.
