I can update guild without any problems but if try to update character get the following errors .

Cannot update Character Data
1054: Unknown column 'honorpoints' in 'field list'

any help is appreciated

EDIT : I have also already overwritten the luaparser.php & wowdb.php as suggested.

Clean install or upgrade?

If it's an upgrade, from what version?

It was an upgrade , think it was from 1.7.0 but not 100% :s

Somehow the upgrade process failed

You can either restore the backup you made before upgrading and try the upgrade again

Or if you didn't make a backup
Open install/db/upgrade_170.sql, and install/db/upgrade_171.sql in a text editor
(if you upgraded from 1.7.1, then just open install/db/upgrade_171.sql)
You may have to get these files from the zip you downloaded

Rename all renprefix_ to your table prefix and run that SQL query in phpmyadmin
