I've got a working version for karazhan (but i'm missing boss from random event un CT_raid). For the boss name I pick it from wowwiki so i must chek it with real data
But I'v got a probleme with CT_raid. it don't record the raid's zone so all my raid a written in the DB as random raid. is it a CT_raid bug (i use dkp-mldkp version)? or do I need to rethink the parsing ?

does someone know an real-easy subversion site for sharing project ?

A huge thanks for taking the time to add to this, niavlys.

That 'raid delete' would be *very* handy! Saves me going in through myphpadmin and manually altering the database :thumright:

Which addon does this work with? I found a version of CT_RaidTracker (link here) but I wanted to make sure I was using the correct one before I began.

Thanks!

Are you taking over this addon?
And have you talked to PoloDude about it?

I'm glad to see someone working on this. I have a framework built, but I have not had time to sit down and truly work on the code in earnest due to other real life issues.

Is there a future for RaidTracker?

Postby Scatmanicus » Wed May 02, 2007 2:25 am

I have a functioning Roster application and prior to update, had a functioning Raid Tracker except it didn't show any BC bosses. I downloaded the raidtracker.zip version 1.2.0 beta 2 from the Sat Apr 21, 2007 11:29 AM post by niavlys. I unzipped the files, updated the mySQL tables wtih the update1.1.2-2.0.0.sql file and uploaded all files to the addons folder overwriting files in the RaidTracker folder. When I went to my Roster, clicked on the RaidTracker link, I get these error messages:

Code: Select all
Warning: main(../../itemstats/wowroster_itemstats.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream:
No such file or directory in /home/luke/public_html/Roster_Alliance/addons/RaidTracker/index.php on line 24

Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening '../../itemstats/wowroster_itemstats.php'
for inclusion (include_path='.:/

I opened the index.php and edited the following line of code:

Code: Select all
include_once($addon_conf['RaidTracker']['itemstatsLib'].'/wowroster_itemstats.php');

and changed it to:

Code: Select all
include_once($addon_conf['RaidTracker']['itemstatsLib'].'/itemstats.php');

as the name of the file in the RaidTrackers/itemstats/ folder was itemstats.php. There was no file named wowroster_itemstats.php.

Then I got these error messages:

Code: Select all
Warning: main(../../itemstats/itemstats.php)
[function.main]: failed to open stream:
No such file or directory in /home/luke/public_html/Roster_Alliance/addons/RaidTracker/index.php on line 24

Warning: main() [function.include]:
Failed opening '../../itemstats/itemstats.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/

There seems to be a routing problem in settinup up the properly directory path.

I restored my backups and restore my mySQL tables and everything is back as it was.

Any suggestions on how to get this updated?

did you edit the conf.php file ?
line 12
Code: Select all
    $addon_conf['RaidTracker']['itemstatsLib'] = "../../itemstats"

I think you should make
Code: Select all
    $addon_conf['RaidTracker']['itemstatsLib'] = "./itemstats"

you should change the path to point where your itemstat lib is.
I did this because i did not use the itemstat lib of the original version of RT.
I use an international one (I'm french and need accent)
http://itemstats.free.fr/news.php

I should make the file wowroster_itemstats.php configurable in the next version
at the moment I working on the parsing with the new format of mldkp CT_raidtraker wich give the instanceID

Thanks niavlys for the reply.

In the conf.php file inside the RaidTracker root folder, there originally was no setting for the itemstatslib, so I have tried both of the settings you listed. I get the same results with both.

Code: Select all
// change the path for itemstats
   $addon_conf['RaidTracker']['itemstatsLib'] = "./itemstats";
//   $addon_conf['RaidTracker']['itemstatsLib'] = "../../itemstats";

I no longer get the original errors as I posted, however, when I click on a raid, on the left side where the items normally show, I am now getting these sql errors:

Code: Select all
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]:
Access denied for user 'dbuser'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in
/home/luke/public_html/Roster_Alliance/addons/RaidTracker/itemstats/includes/sqlhelper.php
on line 21 string(31) "Unable to connect to SQL host: "

In addition, the place where the item would normally appear with the hover information being displayed, I get this type of display

Code: Select all
[item]Bindings of Transcendence[/item] x1

Line 21 of sqlhelper.php is this:

Code: Select all
$this->db = mysql_connect($dbhost, $dbuser, $dbpass);

In addition, on the drop down list of raid zones/instances, it still only shows the old ones prior to BC. Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, etc...from the BC expansion are not included. I thought that was one of the reasons for the upgrade.

I did check the Roster conf.php file for the database connections and it is fine as everything else in Roster works fine.

Any other suggestions?

scat since you made your backup did you edit ./itemstats/config.php ?
itemstat don't use roster variable for database connection.

the drop down list of raid zones/instances is filled with zonename of existing raid in the DB if you didn't upload any BC raid there won't be any in the drop down list.
