Where I have to place these files? I read the wiki twice, but there is only a section "Making an Imagepack".

Thanks for your time
daddelkopp

edit: Ok, I place them into the image folder and change "Character images directory" to tier3. I had the directory + files CHMOD 777. No Charakterimages. I took an image from the "tier3" directory, replaced it with one in the "char" directory (human-female-priest.png to human-priest.png). Then I can see the image????

Is something wrong with char.inc?
Code: Select all
$im_user_file = $configData['image_dir'].$configData['char_dir'].$sig_race.'-'.$sig_gender.'-'.strtolower(getEnglishValue($sig_class,$sig_char_locale)).$char_ext;

We use the wowroster with german language.

Place the custom character image folder under "../roster/addons/siggen/img/character/" (there should already be 2 folders, "default" and "start").

Go to the SigGen Config -> Main Settings -> Character image pack (should be 3rd in the list). Select the name of your custom character image folder (for those provided here, default names are "bajah" and "tier3").

Save the settings. Done. ^^

I have compiled a character image pack for Siggen 0.2.0, it contains work by Suirion and currently is only for Alliance.

It has a readme with install instructions (pretty much exactly as Leifthrasil stated above) and is very, very easy to use.

You can get it here: http://www.thevigilantes.org/josh/Suirion-Alliance.zip

:: PLEASE NOTE ::
The full zip currently has one corrupted file in it!

I'll have to update the full zip in 2 days, I made it at work so I don't have a copy of it all at home, haha.

Until I do so, you can get any individual images from ny roster install, the direct folder link is http://thevigilantes.org//roster/addons ... -Alliance/

Also in reguards to any requests for Horde/Draenei/Higher tier images, I can't actually help you as my total creativity skills all rely on MS paint. Hopefuly Suirion will show up again and will want to create the images for us!

Phranx.

Thank you very much for your answers.

I use the newest roster 1.7.2 and Siggen Version.

Place the custom character image folder under "../roster/addons/siggen/img/character/" (there should already be 2 folders, "default" and "start").

I dont have the subfolders default & start ?

Go to the SigGen Config -> Main Settings -> Character image pack (should be 3rd in the list). Select the name of your custom character image folder (for those provided here, default names are "bajah" and "tier3").

Did you mean "Character images directory"? It set it to char/tier3/ ... no Avatars. I have no option called Character image pack????

I think something going wrong with the char.inc file. In this file the Avatar file name was build. Could that be?

@Phranx: In your Zipfile is an error.
Code: Select all
CRC-Fehler in Suirion-Alliance\nightelf-male-Druid-Tier2.png. Die Datei ist fehlerhaft

Your Imagepack does have the same issus. I cant see any Avatars. I think it must be a local problem of me.

I delete all siggenfiles from the server and drop the siggentable in my Database.

I download siggen_0.2.0.zip.

I upload all files to webspace. Database was created. I CHMOD folders manual. I can see Standard Avatars.

In Mainsettings I can see "Character image pack" :thumright:

I upload Phranx Characterpack.

I can change in Mainsettings Charakterpack from "default" to "Suirion-Alliance" :thumleft:

And then... no Avatars in sig. very strange

Thanks for your time and help
daddelkopp

edit: I try all of the tree here available Packs. All of them did not work. Baja did not have an configuration file. It must be something else.

Ok, I'll try to help you in German. ^^

@ Leifthrasil: Ich hab mich genau an deine Anleitung gehalten.

daddelkopp

english: The tier3 pack works now :thumright: I must toggle between Standard & tier3, again & again.

Thanks again

Character Image Packs

Postby rosh » Thu Jan 18, 2007 3:27 pm

Yes, I'm having the same problem with that image being corrupted.
The rest of the image pack worked perfectly though.

Really looking forwards to trying more packs... this Roster addon is amazing! :D

Character Image Packs

Postby rosh » Tue Jan 23, 2007 8:53 am

Excuse my double posting, but I just read your edit and downloaded the druid image from your site, thanks for that :)

There seems to be another problem though, my warriors have just discovered we are also missing the nightelf-male-Warrior-Tier3.png image

I'll try to make that one, wish me luck, heh
