Hi

I was wondering if there are any plans to make this work with PHPRaider at all?

No plans at all. phpRaider is not open to the public at this moment and I don't intend to pay for buggy alpha/beta releases while the (more or less) bugfree final version is going to be free.

I meant more in terms of when phpraider goes final than right this instant

Spiffyjr seems pretty confident of having a final release available for TBC release, and I have the beta installed and working now.

As long as Spiffy insists that you need to pay for beta testing and that the final version is free, I'm not even going to try.

I donated to his project in the past, found and reported some bugs, but he still wants me to pay to get access to his beta versions. I don't get his business model, maybe someone could explain

You have to pay for the phpraider manager

which just got released yesterday I think. I'm not sure if i'm really up for it, though it looks cool. My personal meaning about it, is that it should be free, though.. I don't think that'll ever happen

EDIT: My bad, I was wrong.. It's still under contruction, and it will be free when it is released. Sorry for the mistake.

PHPRaider 1.0.0 was released a couple days ago free to the public!!!

It would be wicked if someone could upload a sync for them somehow now. Hmmmmm. How would one go about such a thing anyway?

The first release is pretty buggy. It took a while to me to install it and make it work... nevertheless a phpraider Roster Sync would be awesome, just you might want to wait some more as I fear a lot of things are going to change...

I just installed and released phpRaider v1.0.2 for our guild, though there were a ton of bugs to iron out. I'd probably wait for v1.0.3 before rolling it out.

I'll check SpiffyJR's site and see if anybody is talking about phpRaider Sync, and if not, I'll post that there is interest. I'm certainly interested.

More like Tons and Tons and Tons of confirmed bugs (phpbb2 integration completely broken) and still no offical update (nearly a month now) although you can go through each bug post and find the "unofficial" manual fixes that a very kind non-developer put together.

Anyway, here is what spiffy recently said about WoWRoster integration:

"WoWRoster isn't available for every MMORPG and as such won't be implemented without a third party hack."

Completed the wowRoster sync addon to synchronize the phpRaider database with resistance values from wowRoster.

The addon is designed to work with;
wowRoster ver 1.7.3
phpRaider ver [1.02]

The addon conf file must be setup with your phpRaider database access values.
Also the addon is designed to reference the resistance value id's from phpRaider as installed from the initial WoW game install. If you've changed any of the default phpRaider attributes, you'll need to confirm the correct attibute ID's from phpRaider.
