Character Sex Identification problem

Postby Ryokincaid » Mon Jul 10, 2006 12:19 am

Since 1.7, it seems that every character in the guild is defaulted to Female. I've even gone into my local CP.lua file and changed it to 'Male', however it has reverted to 'Female' somehow.

Known problem?

Also, after you have installed the latest CP, you should do a /cp purge all in-game. Or at least do a /cp purge character for each character having the issue. Then re-save them.

Delete your CharacterProfiler.lua and CharacterProfiler.lua.bak files from your SavedVariables directory

...and don't forget that you can set the minimum version of CharacterProfiler via RosterConfig - extremely useful in this sort of situation where we don't want data from old versions of CP being uploaded as it is "bad' data.
Roster 2.0.2 svn [latest] latest trunk SVN svn [latest] running on IIS7/Windows Server 2008 SP2 | MySQL 5.0.85 | PHP 5.2.10 | Yes, Roster and PHP rocks on IIS! Even run as FastCGI extension!
