I am using wowroster 1.7.1 with Altmonitor1.4.0 and I have two issues

a. When I insert the regex I wiant and clic ksave settings it adds \'s
/ALT-([\\w]+)/i is the result of the first save, later I changed another setting and it doubled the \'s again giving me: /ALT-([\\\\w]+)/i Whats the problem with this?

b. The next problem I have is I am using the above regex and looking for ALT- in my officer note field. The data is correctly being exported into characterprofiler.lua and the file seeems to import wihtout issue, but it does not generate the expandable list you can go to www.nocturnalorder.org/roster and see for yourself. I have tried multiple times refreshed, cleared my offline ocntent...

The first problem is causing the second. You've got magic quotes off, I think I fixed altmonitor for that after the first 1.7.1 release, but I'm not sure. I'll check tomorrow morning.

I suspected as much, what are "magic quotes" and how do I get me some?

<technobabble> The magic quotes are a php.ini setting. If they are off we need to do an extra addslashes to escape all data. In 1.7.1 we added this extra addslashes to the framework, but the first AltMonitor for 1.7.1 still had its own addslashes for magic quotes off in as well. </technobabble>

The fix is in for 1.4.1 but I didn't push that yet cause I wasn't sure if there were any other errors. Since I haven't had any I'll push it now.
